Further Information about the Retreat
Accommodation
Mysuseter Fjellstue has several rooms open for all guests; dining-room, tv-room, a lounge with a fireplace and a room for relaxation. They have space for 60 guests. There are 13 double-rooms with shower/toilet en suite and several rooms with 2 to 4 beds, with shower/toilet in the hall.
Start and End times
We would like everyone to arrive at the venue by 7.30pm on Wednesday 1st December for a welcome party.
The retreat will start at 7.30am on Thursday 2nd December with yoga and breathing in the main room followed by breakfast at 8.30am. The opening presentation with Jeddah will start at 9.30am.
Please feel free to arrive any time after 1pm on Wednesday to unpack, relax and explore the area.
The retreat will end at 5pm on Sunday 5th December. The last train from Otta leaves at 6.30pm, we will arrange taxis to the station from 5.15pm. Many of the participants will be staying on Sunday night and travelling home on Monday 6th December. If you would like to stay on Sunday night please let us know and this can be easily arranged for an extra fee of 250 kroner per person.
Food will be available throughout the whole retreat from dinner time on Wednesday (1 Dec) and the last meal to be provided will be breakfast on Monday (6 Dec) morning. There will be a choice of vegetarian and meat dishes, soups and salads, and water, juices and teas. Please let us know if you have any food requests.

Transport to Mysuseter from Oslo
By car: The drive from Oslo takes approximately four hours. Follow the E6 from Oslo to Otta. From there it is a short drive to Mysuseter.
By train: You can take the train from Oslo to Otta (approximately three and a half hours) and from there you can get to Mysuseter by local bus or taxi. Please let us know if you would like to arrange a taxi-share from Otta train station with other retreat participants that are arriving at the same time. Click here for train times and booking
From abroad: If you are travelling from abroad we recommend flying to the GARDERMOEN OSLO LUFTHAVN airport near Oslo and taking the train from the airport to Otta. There is also another airport situated further north (Trondheim) but the transport from here to the venue takes slightly longer and can be more complicated.
The train journey from the airport to Otta takes around 3 hours and it departs around 5 times per day. It is always easy to get seats on the train and it is very easy to find at the airport (3 minutes walk). You can buy tickets on the train (it costs 20 kroner extra) or at the train station, or on the internet.
